Y’all. I can’t even stop with these grilled shrimp tacos. They have become our FAVORITE! And the best part is they are simple to throw together and, as always, it’s pretty easy to add or take away ingredients to make everyone happy in your family. For example, I love a generous sprinkle of blue cheese on mine. The kids like shredded cheddar cheese and Benjamin prefers feta.

A Couple of Tips
Don’t just dump all of the shrimp in your pan. I find they end up being sorta soggy that way so I put them in one at a time and then flip them over. I also let mine hang out on a paper towel for a few minutes to absorb any extra water on them. Can you tell I don’t like wet shrimp? It gets your tortilla wet and just, yuck. You want to cook your shrimp at the end so that they are nice and warm for your tacos.
I love using a grill pan for this recipe. But you can also just use a pan. We invested in this grill pan several years ago, but this is a cheaper alternative.

Combine your lime infused sour cream by mixing mayo, sour cream, and garlic. Zest your lime into the mixture. Juice the lime and add to the mixture to taste. We juiced the entire lime. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Peel and devein and detail shrimp if not bought that way. I rinse mine off and then place on a paper towl with a paper towel on top to soak up any extra water.
Cut up your tomato and onion. Shred cheese.
Add olive oil to pan. Sprinkle shrimp with garlic salt and pepper. Or any other seasoning that you love.
When oil is hot, add shrimp, one at a time. Cook on each side for around a minute and a half or until pink. Flip and cook on the other side.
Once shrimp is cooked, begin assembling your shrimp taco to your taste.
Yummy! Can’t wait to try these later!
