I think that’s the most asked question on my Instagram page. My love for searching for just the right rug has really helped each room in our house stand on its own. Today, I want to share five rugs that are in my house right now that I absolutely love and make each room just pop!
This is perhaps the most popular rug in my home. I can remember a time where I debated on whether or not I should even get a dining room rug, which you can read about here. Let’s be honest, with young kids a dining room rug can be a bit of a questions mark. I tried a couple of different rugs before buying this one from Wayfair. Let me tell ya, it’s the perfect dining room rug! The colors make it easy to disguise a spill or stain that you can’t get out. It’s dark colors in the navy and dark grays make it traditional enough to fit in with most decor, but that fun pops of pink and organge make it really pop!
Because I do like shopping for rugs and they are an easy way to switch up a room, it may be no surprise that rugs can come and go in our home. This rug in our now living room has been one of my absolute favorites. I bought it five years ago when we first moved into our home and I’ve never even thought about switching it out! My rug is from Target, but it looks like they no longer carry it, so I searched everywhere and finally found it for y’all!
We have a Ruggable washable rug that you may have heard or seen on social media. You may be wondering if the Ruggable is legit. I really do love mine. Being able to wash a rug with six kids and a dog is a godsend. I’ve washed mine a couple of times and it does well. This one is traditional in pattern, but I loved the orange and pink in the rug.
Sometimes you need a neutral rug to balance out a fun pattern or color in a room. I originally ordered this rug to go outside on our porch because it’s an inside/outdoor rug. Well, when I added some fun peel and stick backsplash to our master bedroom, I needed a nice neutral rug that could balance the room out. Change of plans for the rug! I used it in our bedroom instead and I absolutely LOVE it!
If you are looking for a good runner for your kitchen or entry, this one has been a favorite of mine. It’s currently in my kitchen and is a nice, affordable option. It’s neutral color don’t compete with the other rugs in the surrounding rugs, but is pretty enough to stand on its own.
I hope this helps you find the perfect rug for your home! Let me know if any of the shopping links don’t work. Have a great day, friends!
