Autumn is my absolute favorite time of year! I love football and pumpkins and hot apple cider and Thanksgiving and cooler weather and mums on the front porch and bonfires and I could keep on going. I also love the anticipation of Christmas more than Christmas itself and guess what season most of the Christmas season falls in? Yep. Fall.
It’s a special day when I (okay, let’s be real–my husband) brings out the bins of pumpkins and autumn signs. I’m so excited to share my downstairs fall decor with you all today. My front porch isn’t quite ready so we’ll be saving that for another day. I hope you gain some inspiration or maybe just smile real big when you see all the pumpkins.
Most of these pumpkins have come from Michaels, TJMaxx, Hobby Lobby, Target Bullseye, and the Dollar Tree over the years.
Let’s start off in our dining room. I am really loving a mix of orange, mustard, and green pumpkins. I got this chippy old box, stuffed books on the bottom, covered it with a white table runner, and started throwing in the pumpkins. Okay, maybe I didn’t throw them. 🙂
The kitchen got some subtle fall touches. There are a few pumpkins here and there and the coffee bar got a pumpkin spice coffee bar sign.
I even added some fall touches to our bedroom. We have stacked pumpkins on each nightstand and the mantle got a whole slew of Dollar Tree pumpkins.
Some pumpkins made their way into the schoolroom too. 🙂
And, lastly, we love doing seasonal bucket lists! This DIY chalkboard is one of my favorite projects!
I hope you enjoyed our fall touches! Thank you for stopping by! Until next time!
From our porch to yours!
Sharlie
